Thank you for volunteering to build a home with Shubeso and Muna and their family!!
This is to confirm your workday on:
Saturday, September 24
Please plan to arrive at 1759 Bolling Avenue by 8:00 am and
stay until we are finished cleaning the worksite at 3:30 pm.
WHAT TO BRING:
LUNCH: We provide lunch on site each day.
WAIVER: Please fill out the Release and Waiver of Liability form. Please bring it with you, signed.
TOOLS: All tools that you will need will be provided for you. However, if you would like to bring your own,
make sure they are labeled with your name so that they are not mixed in with Habitat’s supply.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Closed-toe shoes ONLY are allowed on the worksites.
Dress for the weather. Wear layers, if appropriate.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
Rarely do we cancel workdays because of weather.
HEAT: If the temperature rises above 95 degrees, work will be cancelled for the remainder of the day.
RAIN: Many times, rain showers do not cover all parts of the city.
If thunderstorms are expected, please report to the worksite at your scheduled time.
The final decision regarding the day will be made by the Volunteer House Leader.
As always, volunteer safety is our number one priority.
